These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of americansentrysolar.com (the “Site”), operated by American Sentry Solar, a division of American Design and Build, Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or submitting our free solar analysis form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What We Do

American Sentry Solar designs, installs, and services residential and commercial solar energy systems, solar battery storage, and related services in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Maryland Home Improvement Commission license MHIC #46549. The Site allows you to learn about our services and request a free solar analysis.

No Guarantee of Savings, Incentives, or Financing

Any savings figures, incentive amounts, rebate values, or financing terms presented on the Site or in a solar analysis are estimates only. Actual results depend on your roof, energy usage, utility rates, local incentives, and other factors, and are not guaranteed. Federal, state, and utility incentives are set by the applicable authorities and may change or be discontinued at any time. Financing offers, including no-money-down and deferred-payment options, are subject to credit approval and the terms of the financing provider.

Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or engineering advice. Consult a qualified professional regarding tax credits and your personal financial situation.

Communications

By submitting our form and checking the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, and text message about your solar analysis and our services, including through automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, replying “unsubscribe” to any email, or asking us to stop contacting you. Reply HELP for help.

Installation Agreements

Requesting a solar analysis does not create a contract for the purchase or installation of a solar system. Any installation, purchase, lease, or power purchase agreement is governed by a separate written agreement between you and American Sentry Solar or the applicable financing provider, and those documents control in the event of any conflict with these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content (excluding third-party trademarks) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute the Site’s content without our permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Third-Party Sites

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information on it is complete or current. Product and workmanship warranties for installed systems are described in your installation agreement and the applicable manufacturer warranties, not in these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Site. To the extent any liability relating to the Site cannot be excluded, our total liability will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
